Practical shooting
The range's main discipline: speed-and-accuracy stages and FITDS matches.
What it is
The range's main discipline, practised by the Alpha Raiders team and at the heart of many FITDS national matches in the Handgun, Rifle, Shotgun and PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine) divisions.
Competitors shoot on the move through courses of fire called stages, where speed and accuracy count equally, always under the control of a range officer.
